My wife and I visited the quaint village of Borth on our way through Wales. It was meal time so we stopped at Oriel Tir a Mor which was a cafe inside a wonderful gallery filled with all sorts of artwork and crafted items. It was one of the most delightful experiences of our entire trip. The food was outstanding and included some of the most delicious pastries plus typical Welsh cooking. The owners Peter and Grug happened to be there that day and spent time telling us about the beautiful scenery and some of the fascinating legends of the area. There is a petrified forest of shore at low tide which dates back to the bronze age. At just this one stop, we got to know the warmth and friendliness of the Welsh. It was my birthday yesterday and the staff had made up a lovely corner with banners upstairs for me and husband to sit and eat breakfast, which was absolutely 💯 spot on and a lovely surprise. The staff could not have done anymore for us from the time we got there,they were all so friendly and all wished me happy birthday though out the morning. The surrounding and atmosphere there is brilliant of course we will be going again soon. Thank you guys for starting my birthday with a veggie breakfast and hubby had full English both amazing.
