Lovely pub beautiful views. Sat outside at back with dogs watching sunset. However food was nothing special. We had duck with orange sauce mash and peas. Not a cheep dish 16 pounds ish. Mash was best thing on the plate. The Table spoon of frozen peas were ok too. Duck dry. Over cooked and brown/ grey in colour. Orange sauce - couldn't taste any orange! Duck was Tough. Only reason plate was clear was small portion and dog had the meat. The Other meal - Chicken chips peas and peppercorn sauce was not the best either. 2 black current cheese cakes - GF were ok but obviously run of the mill catering supplied. Not worth the 6.95 each. Over all spent 52.40 including 2 pints Coke. Wasn't impressed. View was the best thing. Drinks ok. Won't go back for food. Really not worth it. Don't know who the chef was but I think they should be ashamed to turn out the two mediocre meals we had. No care taken or pride in what they produced. To be honest it may well have been a micro wave meal. But wouldn't expect to pay the price we did for that. Service was slow though ok. Staff were polite. Didn't ask if meal was OK. Long wait between courses. So disappointed as had looked forward to a nice meal as a treat on our holiday. Didn't want to cause a fuss so just left. Won't be back for food. But drinks and View are great....

Wow. Gulp. New update. 2025. The kitchen is still sending out great food. The staff are still fantastic...cope amazingly with the ravenous and parched queues. Beer selection is fantastic and the view is still the best for miles around. Updating 2022(!) Hooray! The chips, and everything else we ate were grand!Lovely service and great beer. Back up to ten out of ten for the best inn on the sea we know :-) Old... Oct 2019. Sadly the delicious chips have been changed for pretentious oily imitations. The scrumptious fish basket must be from another supplier, cos it aint scrumptious anymore. Horrible batter, and iceland like bits in the middle :-( :-( there is a card machine now, the beer is still good and the view the best for miles, but it is back to the chippie for us. The staff are still amazing ...fix the fish basket and lose those ludicrous chips pleeeze. Older review: Top marks to the Innkeepers :-) This has been our favourite seaside pub for years and recent improvements are a delight. The only food photo is those delicious chips because every other bit was devoured. Great friendly young staff. Might wait a bit for food...but it's worth it. No...

We have been to the Vic a few times and there was a problem every single time. It's such a lovely place, but bar staff are often rude. We were told twice that we couldn't eat as there were too many orders (we only asked for a bowl of chips with our drinks). On another visit a member of staff said the kitchen was closed. When we asked another member of staff (as people next to us were being served), she happily took our order. Another time they said they'd stop taking orders at 6pm. It's really bizarre. It would also help if staff were more courteous when turning customers down. I'm happy to book a table for a 'big' meal, but I have never been to a pub where I'd have to book in advance to get a bowl of chips with my beer. It's a shame, as we live close by and would visit frequently if it wasn't such a drama every time. I also wouldn't leave a bad review based on a single visit/bad experience, but this happened...

A hidden gem. Nestled in between a row of terraced cottages is the Victoria Inn, Borth. A lovely and welcoming pub where dogs are just as welcome as we are. Out the back the beer garden is on the beach. Above that is a sun terrace where you can sit and enjoy a great meal and drink whilst looking out to sea. The lunchtime menu ends at 14.30 hours so go earlier to avoid disappointment. The food is very good and good value too. Highly recommended.

Spent a lovely afternoon at The Victoria Inn. The view is amazing and the welcome was equally as good. The kids loved playing on the beach and it was great that they had this freedom while watched them from our table. We were only able to have drinks and snacks as the kitchen was not open today. However we will be back to try the menu as it looked great, particularly the vegetarian burger. I would definitely recommend this pub😊
