If you want huge portions of the nicest cakes, go here!! Absolute bang for your buck! Warm scones with whipped cream and strawberries, delicious hot chocolate, and the BIGGEST death by chocolate you have ever seen!! I should have listened to the lady behind the counter, she warned me that a single portion to share would have been challenge enough but nooooo, "my boys are animals" I said to her 🤣 .... I didn't expect this thing to be the size of Mt Everest!! It should have come in trough with trowels!! It was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed by the boys even though they didn't manage to chomp it all (not for lack of trying!). The staff are so lovely, and the downstairs is dog friendly too if you have a four legged friend and the weather is a bit grim. Deffo eyed up the sandwiches and jacket potatoes for our next visit because they looked bloody gorgeous too!

We stopped here to have a spot of lunch and watch the seagulls steal peoples food who weren’t paying attention. Most amusing. When we ordered the food, I have a chat with the lovely staff and we discussed the seagulls so we were well aware. Prior to bringing out the food, they provided a parasol for the table (more seagull protection) and they checked up on my order, in a really nice courteous was due to my decision making earlier. To food is really nice, we only had sandwiches and toasted sandwiches but they were perfect. My son had one of the Pebbles milkshakes and would recommend it to any child. He was so happy when it arrived! All in all, a really pleasant little break. In fact, we’re going to head back for the cream teas prior to going home after the holiday.

Stumbled into this place at three, so we missed "food", per se. Some cold drinks and a pot of green tea, scones, (inc gluten free), clotted cream and jam, choc and orange brownie cake and a lime and coconut cake which was sublime. We'll be returning before we go home, making the effort to arrive earlier! 😁 The only negative was the wasps, they know quality too! Edit: we made it back for lunch, lovely salad and coronation chicken ciabata, beans on toast, glutton free bacon butty and three, various freak shakes! All three of the ladies running this place are accommodating and friendly, playful even 😆 love it, will be such a shame when thier "street view" gets updated!!!

Very poor service, the lady that took our order was very unhelpful and on the tipping point of rude. I ordered a crab sandwich with cost £4.50 and it come and it was crab stick mashed up on cheap bread. It was not value for money! I asked for a coffee and it never come so I ask where it was and she just said "you didn't order one" and then turned her back on me. This also happened to someone else in our group. We spent £50 on food and drink and asked for a cup to split a hot chocolate between 2 young children and she charged us 10p for the cup after spending £50 on our order. Also asking for 50p extra for cheese on a ham toasty was a bit steep. Over all poor value for money and very poor...
