There are lots of coffee shops to choose from in Tywyn, but I am always keen to support new and local options. Over the years I think I have tried most places here and in Aberdovey, so it was nice to try another. Initially I had a takeaway Latte during my morning walk, it was so nice that I went back with my dad later in the day. He had a salted caramel brownie, it was delicious, I had another Latte and it was equally as nice. I am a stickler for loyalty cards, so when I saw they had one, I mentioned to the young lady serving that had I known earlier, I would have picked one up. She very kindly stamped my card to equate to the three coffees purvhased, which was kind of her. In these tough days, anyone giving reward for loyalty is a nice thing to do, especially for struggling families. A Cuppa and a cake is often the only treat many get these days, so a nice touch. A clean loo too, so good on all counts, though dad did say he struggled to get his fingers through the mug, otherwise all good. Thank you. A tip if I may. A "good morning" and a friendly smile...
Read moreCame here last year while on holiday in Tywyn! Had to go as Kate who owns the place used to work where I did so wanted to see what her new adventure was while I was there as I'd heard so much nice stuff about her! Did end up talking to her and she was absolutely lovely and so kind!! The sandwiches and cakes were scrumptious! I'd definitely recommend it if your there or even just passing through! It was some of if not the best food I've ever had in a café! The coffees and mocha were amazing too! I had two mocha which is unusual for me when out! It was that nice though! It was so busy every day from what we saw looking up and down the high street and we could see why when we popped in when there was some free tables for lunch! I will hopefully come back soon! Just look at the pictures to see how delicious...

The vegan carrot cake was what gives this place four stars for me. WOW. This carrot cake lives in my dreams. Its frosting, in particular. And how fantastic that it's plant-based! Definitely don't miss it if you stop by.
The oat milk cappuccinos were good. I'd have loved to see larger coffee options on the menu, but this rather small size seems to be standard across the locally-owned coffee shops in Wales (i.e., not Cost or Caffe Nero). That's fine, I just ordered three during our time here - two in and one to go.
The atmosphere is quaint and cozy and the outdoor seating is covered.
The staff were all...
