A good range of interesting beers, certainly taking up the slack where other local pubs are failing. However I went there on a Thursday night and there was live music on - the room must be no more than 20ft square and the music was killing all conversation, and we weren't the only ones to pop in briefly and leave after 1 drink. Definitely going to try again when there's no huge speakers to sit...

A great small business in a small village that’s on the up (Pontyclun). This very small bar really packs a punch (non violent) and is used by a great group of people. There is often live music and open mic nights and the beers and ciders on the pump offer a great variety. What makes this place so good? It’s the staff and the people that drink there. Always a warm welcome in this place. Great selection of craft beer, everyone welcome including dogs and kids. A great place to have a few beers on a sat afternoon. I've been told they have started burgers on a Fridaytoo, not had one yet, but will definitely be looking to try...
