Rozi's Tandoori House — Restaurant in Wales

Where does one start yes the beginning. Moved to Prestatyn in 2009 we had our first takeaway here and it was terrible I had a vindaloo and it tasted like chilli powder. I vowed would never visit again. Now then with the Panshee closed decided after reviews on this restaurant seemed good so decided to give it a visit. Ordered chicken tikka jalfrezi and chicken tikka nagga. Chicken in both tasted like compressed mush not a taste of tikka in sight. Chicken was sliced not in any type of form for a skewer. No sign of nagga green chillies or onions but chick peas. We tasted it and binned it the meal was horrible the worst we have ever had to pay for with great regret. So in 15 years nothing had changed. Save your money and go elsewhere ! I'm not a food snob. And love a good Indian. But on this occasion it was poor, bland and lazy cooking. I say lazy because the garlic naan was plain naan with sliced massive garlic cloves embedded into the naan. Korma was that poor that the fragrance of the pillau rice could be tasted through the curry. Only gave 2 stars as the popadoms were fresh and crispy. Ended up being the best part of the meal ! Deffo won't be returning. First and last experience at Rozis. Sorry guys on this occasion your restaurant failed to meet my modist standards of a decent curry. Hopefully other people disagree with me as this is only my opinion of this...

Visited here again last Friday. The restaurant was a little quiet but takeaways were really popular. Personally I prefer to sit down in a busier restaurant than when we were there but that is my only minor criticism. Food and service were ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! Having been greeted with smiles this great welcome continued to when we ordered and enquired on their specials menu. I was warned beforehand that my choice was hot and spicy it arrived full of flavour, one of the best (and hottest) curries I have ever had, beautiful. For a family of 4 we loved our visit. Definitely the best option for curry...
