Called here last week 16 September as this used to be a good cafe with decent meals sadly it has gone downhill and very dated to what I recall when I lived in the area.I had a special as they called it steak pie chips and gravy.It was very poorly presented nearly cold and no taste at all.The staff were okay.The place was empty except for us and it was obvious that the meals were very poor and not a patch on what I remember.Never again Sorry! Had a response from owner of cafe a few days later stating they have never served steak pie??? So what meat was actually in the pie?? Not as per menu! Some will do anything to avoid a bad...

Large breakfast £6.50!!! . Very small 1 sausage 1 beacon hash browns 1 egg and mushrooms and 1 piece of toast I was shocked if u want black pudding 70p a slice!!! . Which I paid for and it was as hard as a hockey puk . I had to ask is this the large they said yeh . I said u must be joking but she kind of walked away . It don’t tell you on the menu the quantity u get can oviously see why now . I don’t mind paying good money for a good breakfast but don’t like being ripped off for small portion when I pay for a large and even that wernt very nice anyway . Good place to eat if...

My friend and l thought we would treat ourselves to a nice fish and chips so on the menu it said Cod n Chips 9.90 when it was brought out to us it was a piece of packet fish as they were identical...it was hard and crispy and it tasted awful 😞 there were a few chips definitely frozen and a side salad with the lettuce leaves brown at the edges with a wet slice of tomato and two slices of cucumber l can honestly say it was the worst meal l have had in years ...we should have complained ...we will never ever go there again and certainly can't recommend this place a complete...
