Spoons and Forks — Restaurant in Wales

The lovely lady running this business is an absolute gem! We recently had my hen do in Mold and had booked an afternoon tea delivery for the Sunday. On the Saturday the person hosting our activity didn’t turn up (nothing to do with this company), when my sister contacted spoons and forks and informed them what had happened and just to double check everything was okay with our booking for the next day the lady running spoons and forks told us to let her know if she could do anything to help us, she didn’t need to offer assistance at all but she definitely made us feel a lot better and less let down by the other rubbish company! We bought some scones with butter, jam and clotted cream which we used for our Valentines Afternoon Tea at home. The scones were freshly baked, very big and delicious 😋 and very reasonably priced at £5 for two. The collection was Covid safe and the lady that served me was really nice and friendly - I’m sure that mine wasn’t the biggest order of the day but she made me feel that my custom was appreciated 🥰. We booked after having a really great breakfast experience. It was our anniversary and we were staying in Mold overnight and liked the simple good, no nonsense food that Spoons and Forks had to offer. We found out that 'forks' is front of house and 'spoons' the chef. Such a lovely couple and they didn't dissappoint. We booked for an evening meal, my husband chose the mixed grill and I had tapas.
