Wow. So much ineptitude. The girl serving acted as if she knew what she was doing, but made so many mistakes (albeit one in my favour) I asked for a cold version of a drink, like the frappuccinos which cream, and to top up my card with money. She topped up the card with the right amount, but charged me a lesser amount, which confused me, but she insisted she did it right. She then made my drink with ice, not crushed like a frap, so asked her if it could be crushed, and I wanted cream on it too, she then looked confused and just put cream on it. Repeated I wanted the ice crushed, she then said "oh you want it blended!?" There was quite a bit of huffing because she had to put the drink in the blender. Eventually I did get my drink but not without the stereotype of the young person's "I'm always right" attitude I was getting from her. Found out from the people I was with, that she was in 6th form high school, so understood why she wasn't as great as the normal Starbucks staff. But the girl really needs to learn to firstly, smile and learn what customer service is, also she needs to not assume, and if the customers asked for something different, to double check what they wanted, so she gets it right first...
Read moreTerrible, TERRIBLE & terrible! Called in at 10:30 on a Sunday morning with friends. It wasn't particularly busy but the time we had to wait you would've thought so. The staff seemed more preoccupied with dealing with the drive through customers. My friend asked for a filter coffee & he was told hee have a 10 minute wait. A minute later I asked for a filter coffee and within a minute I had a filter coffee. I wished I'd not bothered. It was tepid and this showed in its taste. It was disgusting and definitely the worst coffee I've had the unfortunate pleasure of drinking. Needless to say, it got left. I tasted my friend's Americano and that wasn't much better but at least it was warm. The staff were busy but I found them to be surly. And the last thing, my friend went to use the ladies but had to wait as, as she put it, they were disgusting. Save yourself the bother and go to the Greggs just across...
Read moreDrive thru takes priority in this store. I was left waiting for 15 minutes for my Frappuccino and witnessed my cup being put to the back so they could make drive thru drinks who had ordered after me. I was also not acknowledged as I stood waiting to order at the till. 3 members of staff ignored me for 5 minutes. Another lady who I was not with questioned why I had been waiting so long. We were then both shouted at by staff accompanied by exaggerated eye-rolling and aggression! Maybe they need more staff as the tables were full of dirty plates and cups. Staff also need training in...
