Tesco Cafe — Restaurant in Wales

I ordered a breakfast at 10:20am, 45 minutes later still no sign of my breakfast so I asked a passing member of staff if she could check how long it was going to be, 10 -15 minutes later I was told “ sorry the till went down, what was it that you ordered?” So I asked “ if the till went down so you couldn’t see my order, why didn’t someone just come and ask me what I ordered, not wait an hour without saying anything!” The cafe wasn’t even that busy, there was another gentleman complaining also about how long his breakfast was taking. First off I wanna say the people working are lovely and the coffee and food is great. But the management and staffing is bad. I just waited 20min in a qué just to order my food and be told there's a half hour wait. There always a wait here. The cafe is full of OAPS that have 1 coffee and linger for 2 hours so I understand the turn over being slow but the poor girl on the till shouldn't have to take order, make coffee and drinks with a consistent line of 10 plus people. Your Tesco's why can't you afford 1 extra staff floating between till and cafe helping the cook who is obviously...

Reassuring wait for our food. I had a big breakfast and my wife had baked potato with spring onion. Reassuring because we know it is freshly cooked. However, my “sunny side up” eggs were overdone, bacon and sausages underdone and the staff member I had to ask for butter for my wife’s baked potato annoyed by twice saying that the potato doesn’t come with butter, you need to ask when ordering. “Who knew!!?” We didn’t. Is butter like really expensive then, is that mark-up that valuable to Tesco’s. Disappointing after 5 stars for all last time...
