The Bench — Restaurant in Wales

This is a popular ice cream place in the middle of the city. They have many flavours displayed on the board. Unfortunately, they don't let you sample any of the flavours before buying. Maybe it is to help the que move faster. The price is fair for the (large) portion of ice cream. I had the mint choc chip and raspberry sorbet in a waffle cone. They were pretty average, to be honest. Maybe I should have chosen other flavours. The ice cream is also very soft and melts quite fast, so you have to eat really fast, if not, you'll get ice cream all...

Strolling along High Street in St David's we had no intention of splashing out on an ice cream - it was a fairly cold day and we were already stuffed! However, it was impossible to ignore the long queue of people waiting to buy an cream. Assuming they knew something we didn't, we joined the wait and were so glad we did! It's a staple of any trip to St Davids.

The ice cream is really, really good. Flavours are increasingly inventive and all excellent.

Queues are big, but they know what they're doing and you don't wait long.

There's a few seats undercover for eating out on those wet days. But most people mill around on the pavement licking drips off the sides of their cones.
