What a lovely find myself & my friend made tonight. Warm, friendly & welcoming. We ordered then sat and chatted with our drinks. The sound of chat and the general ambience was just wonderful. We soon relaxed and just enjoyed our surroundings. Once the meal came, which although took over an hour, we were surprised at the size of the meal, it’s was very very generously proportioned. Once we were over the shock we tucked in. The meal was hot, incredibly tasty and worth every penny spent & minute waited. We were so full we didn’t finish & bought our deserts home with us as there was no way we could have managed them. An absolute gem of a place & 1 we will be returning...

I called today for a traditional Sunday lunch break on a 150mile journey, responding to the A board on the pavement.

I parked easily/safely. Upon entering it was clearly Covid aware. There were ample staff and one cheerlady type from the Emerald Isle Leading the pack, a joy to behold, in exactly the right slot for her friendly outgoing at ease personality.
