The Fox & Hounds — Restaurant in Wales

I started coming to this pub as new to the area. Every one including bar staff are lovely. The problem is they have locals who think they own the place. Apparently a dog friendly pub but when my little dog approached another the dogs didn’t like each other. I had mine on a lead and quickly pulled her back. All I got was a mouthful of abuse from the dog owner. I explained dogs are dogs and will not always get along. His answer was, you shouldn’t bring that dog in here plus other comments. Not a nice man at all. Very rude. I think the pub needs to have a word with their locals. They do not own the pub. I have told my friends and family not to go there. It’s been posted on Facebook too. I won’t be spoken to like that. Maybe if I was a man it would have been different. An absolutely nasty man who will upset the wrong...

I like it here. They serve a wide selection of drinks plus crisps and other nibbles to choose from. Friendly staff, clean facilities and popular amongst the villagers. The fox and hounds also has a lovely outside seating area which I enjoy using myself in the summer...

Not the most athletically pleasing pub, a little rough around the edges but we had fun in a bit group and the drinks are cheap.
