I started coming to this pub as new to the area. Every one including bar staff are lovely. The problem is they have locals who think they own the place. Apparently a dog friendly pub but when my little dog approached another the dogs didn’t like each other. I had mine on a lead and quickly pulled her back. All I got was a mouthful of abuse from the dog owner. I explained dogs are dogs and will not always get along. His answer was, you shouldn’t bring that dog in here plus other comments. Not a nice man at all. Very rude. I think the pub needs to have a word with their locals. They do not own the pub. I have told my friends and family not to go there. It’s been posted on Facebook too.
