Called in for the first time for Sunday lunch, the dinning room we was in was nice and bright only down fall was the room was cold, had a Sunday lunch looked nice but not enough for what we had and was just warm, I had to have my mother in law's food warmed up in the microwave! and had a small pot of gravy which wasn't enough for me asked for more and they wanted to charge for it! Been going here for years. Wasn't anything special. It has however improved quite a bit recently. The new owner has spent some money on it, improving the toilets, tidying it up and increasing the amount of seating.

I've not had food there but heard its pretty good. They have also improved the range on tap to include, Birra Moretti and £3.60 as well as Thatchers Gold and Thatchers Haze.

The beer garden has also had money spent on it, with more seating and little alcoves built into the side of the wall for melore...

Waited over an hour for food to arrive and it wasn't busy at all. We did arrive earlier than planned but phoned ahead first to check it was ok. Barely anyone in there but after an hour still no food, ended up just leaving. Shame really because everyone says food is nice. If you don't mind the long waits then go but be prepared to wait a long time even when it's quiet. Oh and avoid having any soft drink on...
