Visited this establishment on the 30/12/2023 for breakfast with the. Family all I can say what a diabolical breakfast for the price ,rationing went out in the war ,the amount of beans in the bowl was unbelievable,1 scoop I asked for a bigger portion and the boy serving returned with a similar portion as first, on my plate was 1 slice of bread , something that resembled scrambled egg ,1 scabby piece of bacon well cooked ,burnt offering I asked for the manager who never appeared so I just asked for my money back ,let's just say I won't be returning to this establishment for breakfast in the future there are far better establishments in the town who do a much better value breakfast i left with no food utterly disgusting experience.The photos on the menu are edited as it. Looks like nothing what you get on your plate .I would definitely recommend going to other cafes in the town .There is a much better cafe a bit further up with the near enough same price breakfast but you get way more and better...

Awful service and even worse food!

All our breakfasts came out cold amd missing items but everyone was so hungry they eat it anyway

My sons fruit took so long I gave him my cold breakfast and when it did come it had ice cream on it (at 10am) take into account my child is dairy free as he has CMPA

Sent the fruit back not even an apology from the staff at this point just awww OK

Over 20 mins later a new fruit bowl came out once everyone had finished eating even my son so at this point. I had eat nothing.

I told the waiter I did not want this now as everyone was ready to leave at this point.

Made a complaint to the manager who again diddnt seem to care much a quick sorry and refund of the fruit is all she could offer.

At least it beats the time before when we waited over 2 hours and never recieved our food.

Will not be going there again. Its a shame really because we visit merthyr one all the time and it's fantastic, great atmosphere, great service and great...

This place is like the black hole of Calcutta, probably due to that flea on an ameoba T. Martin not playing the electric bill. We order two of their 'Gormet sirloin steak from English and Irish farms' ha ha! What came was a disgusting piece of thin Hal hal meat from Jerkwater Farm in some Factory in some dive in God knows where. It had six chips, a poxy tomato/mushroom and all freezing cold! It was sent back immediately as it tasted disgusting! Three staff members were arguing over the so called meal! There was about 12 people in there on Saturday lunchtime, and now I know why! Since Covid Martin has closed many of his excuses for restaurants; do yourself a favour and close this dump. Cheap rubbish meals for normal restaurant prices nearly £30 for two dog meat steaks cooked by people pretending to be Chefs who need a receipie to make toast. Do yourself a favour and avoid this pit...
