Stopped off for a quick bite to eat for lunch on this chilly Saturday June day Greeted by smiley friendly staff is always a good start for me and ones that don’t rush you aswell while you ponder the menu then go to explain the menu aswell The full menu isn’t available till next week as they have told us they have only just reopened and still working on kitchen. This didn’t deter us from there very pleasant and extensive rolls salads and cakes menu after learning that they cook and prepare their own Pembrokeshire ham it was a easy decision for myself and my bro to opt for the Pembrokeshire ham cheese and home made onion chutney roll washed down with a pint of San Miguel which were poured as we ordered We sat down with a view out to Fishguard and goodwick bay and although chilly we embraced it as the view was still stunning Well the rolls arrived fairly quickly very large floury soft rolls stuffed inside and overflowing with thick cut slices of their Own Ham thick slices of beautiful flavour mature cheese and slathered with their delicious onion chutney which with a slight sweetness cut through the sharp mature cheese every bite was so delicious and washed down with a pint San Miguel we will definitely be going back very very soon The full food menu up next week so will be going to check that out The current one gives everybody something to choose from for a lite lunch The cakes and hot and cold beverage menu is realy good and Alcohol menu is pretty extensive from my point of view with a great selection of draught and bottled beers and ciders If your in the region or passing threw I give it a 5 star 10 / 10 Pop in Great food lovely views and surroundings very pleasant...

An ice cream shop that won't let you taste the flavour that you are about to buy! I am the customer spending the money and 4 I e creams and drinks isn't cheap these days. Asked to try the cherry swirl, "No, it's not our policy." came the reply. I went with it - big mistake! My sons and friend enjoyed their ice creams, and one child ate my cherry swirl and I sat drinking a diet coke while my three companions ate their ice creams. I have never heard such nonsense before. Surely, the Shack wants positive reviews but how can I possibly give a positive review when I didn't enjoy what I purchased and it could have been so easily avoided, had I had a tiny spoon-sized sample. The cherry swirl would have immediately been discounted and I might have enjoyed my time at the Shack. Cherry Swirl sucks and so does your policy as it puts the customer last when we keep you...

We visited Fishguard 18/08/20. We arrived there around lunch time and looked around for a place to have food. Decided to go at Shack. Lovely place/location. We ordered 4 coffees and 2 ham and cheese and the kids had ice cream. All were good except for the coffee. Seems like we were drinking warm milk with a bit of froth. Decided to approach the ladies who served us but they really don't want to hear what we have to say. One was even rude to tell us to move away from the counter. Having bad coffee is one thing but to have very unhelpful service is another matter. Didn't even ask us what was wrong with our order. It was disappointing to say the least. For the ladies who were working that day and time, I am sorry but the service you gave us is very poor. No concern was shown.
