Wow! And Double Wow!! This gem of a café is on the top side of perfect. While driving from somewhere to somewhere else we stopped in Llanidloes for a cuppa. Walking past a plastic place we kept going - not far - up Great Oak Street until we found this. It is everything that is wonderful. The decor is cheerily welcoming. The non-blasted music carries you along. The food is both delicious and copious. The coffees are quality and... top of the list... the staff are lovely. What a tremendous find. Wishing everyone every continued success, Nick and Hilary.

Visited this gorgeous cafe on a Saturday afternoon and although it was super busy, the staff were all working hard to keep service smooth and the place had a great atmosphere! We had coffee and cake - both of which were DELICIOUS and I was even able to have a gluten free option which was the best GF cake I’ve ever eaten! Really lovely, cosy cafe with amazing, well priced food and super friendly staff, can’t wait to come back!

Amazing vegan food and garden!!! This food was so nourishing, delicious and just fantastic. Staff were lovely, we stopped in their beautiful garden breaking up a long journey from the ferry in Fishguard and will be back next year. Great coffee too. Absolutely 10/10. Thank you!!

Don’t know why this cafe - reopened under a new team last year - doesn’t get more ratings Possibly because the majority of us have given up the fight of looking for anything better than ultra processed junk food .

The food is remarkably tasty as well as healthy The vegan cakes to die for and the staff - which is almost entirely female if not entirely - cheerful, helpful and irritatingly bubbly behind the scenes as a only a cohort of women can be ( I have to leave the room when my partner’s effervescent PE colleges turn up - doesn’t suit my grumpy male disposition - so noisy they ! )

Most compellingly the ride from Montgomery - Berriew - Manafon - Bettewys - Aberbechan, Newtown - Caersws to Lanni is a bikers treat...

If you are ever driving through mid wales this cafe is a must for a stop off. The food is of high quality and full of flavour with a wide choice to tempt the palate. I particularly love the quiche, cheese scones and multitude of delicious salads. The wide selection of Homemade cakes makes it hard to choose - I think I’ve tried every one! And the coffee machine is very impressive - it also makes an incredible hot chocolate. I love sitting in the tranquil garden during the warmer months but equally there is a cosy feel inside in the winter. Thank you Wil and the team for providing such a welcoming and outstanding...

I was so happy to see the cafe had been reopened, ( if not the most favorite place for me to go for a drink and sometimes food) but only until I was served. The girl behind the till ( with rings through her lips) ask me for the number of the table I was sitting at ( I had just walked in so didn’t have one). Her expression changed when I said that table over there and asked for a coffee. It was as if I was not welcome anymore. I could not work out what I had done to deserve such a cold shoulder, but it left a sour taste in my mouth. I will not be going back there is such a...
