Owner refused us service because we were wearing face masks. I replied it was due to health conditions and elevated risk but he said he āhated themā and refused service. A real shame, I wouldāve liked a take-away coffee and donāt see how my personal choice to wear a mask should impede his ability to make one. I support his choice to not wear a mask whilst conducting his business, but donāt see how my own precautions should have made him so anxious and agitated. I let him know it was nothing personal against him and explained our position calmly, but it seems we are not the only ones who have had a bad customer service experience here. A difference of opinion should not be used to justify targeted harassment of customers and a refusal of service....
