Wern Fechan Fish & Chip Shop — Restaurant in Wales

Used to come here all the time and it was amazing. Obviously have been affected by the cost of living crisis, but £27.50 for two fish and chips, peas and curry sauce is outrageous. Portion size was enough to feed 4 people, so maybe fix that and bring the prices back down.... large curry sauce wasn't enough to even cover the food, equated to about 5 tablespoons.

Not sure if under new management but the fish was overly greasy. Chips were good but that's about it. Service was good an store was friendly. But sadly won't...

Have visited here like other f+ch shops in Ruthin for over 50 years,As some one else said i call here the "hit and miss shop.On my last visit I was given flat horrible stale flat fish,and tasteless soggy chips,do'nt like putting food in the bin but I HAD TO ! Manager and staff was friendly, However the food was a disaster. I don't know where to start. Chips weren't cooked properly some overdone and others underdone like solid in the middle. The ladels for sauses looked horrible like it was standing like They were standing for hours. And the sausage was another story. The floor of the room was covered in chips. Additionally the gravy was tasteless. Lastly their was no food....
