If you are an allergy sufferer this cafe is like going back to the 18th century. Despite ringing ahead by a whole week, this cafe owner declared they couldn't possibly cook a fried breakfast for you if you can't eat dairy and gluten. Despite my husband suggesting he could buy in appropriate foods. Thankfully a 21st century cafe is a hop, skip and a jump away in the form of Roses who have bent over backwards to accommodate my allergies. They will be getting a 5 star review. Visited today, our first time with my dog. Warm welcome to us both, staff very pleasant and unprompted brought dog water and treats. Relaxed, professional and friendly service and atmosphere, no restrictions or panicking on where we sat, considering dog in tow. Also no sense of being rushed to finish, etc. The customers in there all lovely too. Served quickly, food and drink came quickly and both really enjoyed. Stumbled across this lovely looking café whilst hungrily looking for somewhere to eat - we certainly wasn't disappointed.

The milkshakes are to die for - 10/10 and the food was really yummy.

I had the tuna melt jacket potato with side salad and coleslaw. A massive portion for the money and really delicious.

Atmosphere is really nice, lovely cosy warm interior and staff very friendly...
