A perfect spot for lunch on a sunny day. This cafe is quayside at Lower Town Harbour in Fishguard. Our favourite local cafe. A good selection of delicious quiches (salmon or goats cheese for example), lobster rolls, crab sandwiches, huge freshly made scones and cakes and a delicious light cheesecake with fresh berries at the moment. Sit outside and watch the boats come and go. Dog friendly (outside, not sure about inside). Never sat inside, with a view like this why would you?! We had two mugs of tea, the quiche and a crab sandwich, and one portion of the cheesecake. It came to almost £35. Friendly staff, prompt clearing of tables. I had a custard slice that tasted as if it were made with custard powder and water. The overuse of gelatin made the texture very unpleasant in the mouth.
The cheesecake tasted like thickened mascarpone dolloped on a claggy crumb. Not at all a buttery biscuit base, or anything like a cheesecake should be.

Nice Fresh Food - Offer breakfast until 12, lunch menu, few cakes and drinks. Eat in and takeaway available. Toilets inside and also further down. Seating outside.
Service was ok, nothing to rant and rave about, got us what we needed. Could be a bit more talkative but hey ho.
