Ashoca — Restaurant in Walsall

Found this gem recently after reading excellent reviews and visited on Christmas Eve.We were greeted by a friendly waiter and even though we said we didn’t book they was able to accommodate 2 of us despite the fact the restaurant was very busy. We were able to order our meal and drinks within a reasonable time and drinks arrived followed by starters which arrived promptly. We had the Ashoca mix stir fry to start with; which tasted astonishing and just melted with flavour in your mouth. Starters were cleaned away and while waiting for our meals; the owner made an effort to approach us and have a conversation with us which was nice as most restaurants don’t do that. The mains arrived shortly after and was amazed by the presentation. We ordered the Murgh Mosolini and the King Prawn Tawa. The mains were phenomenal with every bite. The dishes were modern with a traditional twist of flavour, was enjoyed with rice and piping hot Nan. Astonishing meal over all. We asked for the bill and was complimented with baileys; what a fantastic finish to our delicious meal.

Overall our experience at Ashoca was first class. A modern, clean restaurant with superbly professional and friendly service by everyone involved. From arrival to leaving we had an excellent time at Ashoca. Keep up the outstanding work and we defiantly will be recommending this restaurant...

We have literally just finished our takeaway from Ashoca and had to compliment them on the quality of the food and the service. We both enjoy a chicken tikka dansak (I asked for mine to be extra hot) and they were both absolutely delicious. Certainly the best 'curry' I have enjoyed in a very long time. We also had a garlic nan, coriander nan and pilau rice, along with the free poppadoms and dips we received. Could not fault any of it. I have never been moved to calling a place to thank them for a meal we have had delivered before, but that's exactly what I have just done. Outstanding....

I stopped off at this restaurant whilst away for Business in Bloxwich, the lamb shank was to die for! 6 colleagues of mine had also joined me for the trip & we ate there everyday for 5 days during our stay. You can ask for the food to be mild or spicy & they cater for everyone’s needs. The place is well decorated & very up to date by style. It is somewhere you can dress well for & have events or birthdays. The price was very very reasonable & we all had no complaints! Defo...
