Bengal Relish — Restaurant in Walsall

Hello, just wish to share my recent experience with Bengal Relish. I was permanent customer of this place. Like any other times this weekend we decide to get some food for takeaway. We got chips reheated so many times. I am not sure where they taken from restaurant tables and reheated again or just recooked so many times. As i worked in chips shop so many years i know that this condition chips should not be given for customers as if they where in the oil for so many times they are poisoning... Anyway i brought chips to them back and they where trying to explain me that sometimes it could happen that few chips could be reheated. I just wish to confirm that i got bag of chips and they all where in dark orange or brown color, hard, dry, half bitten, burned (see pictures below) So how i can be sure about they rest of the food. Anyway i have been offered another bag of chips or money for bag of chips... They where dealing like in the market, so i refused. I am not happy with the way they acted to this situation as i did not get simple normal sorry. Customer should be treated differently. From my experience i know, that the right way to deal with customers if they are not satisfied in any way just give money for full order and apologies. Anyway they made me feel as for them i was just the number. I can not understand how this restaurant can afford this behavior being the best restaurant in Willenhall... So they lost the customer and i urge you avoid this place as well. Please see...

Very disappointed. We were out wth friends usually we like to take our time over our food but tonite so disappointed. Our table was buked for 6 o.clock .we had people waiting for our table at 7.30 apparently .we didn't have time to enjoy our wine .felt rushed .Good job we didn't want a desert ..we were celebrating our friends anniversary .we shud have been told the table was only for hour and half .cuz quite Frankly we would have gone somewhere else .we like to take our time enjoying our food and chat we don't go out very often now .so we like to make the best of it .we wud not have chosen the bengal .if we know the restricted time on table .the bill was on the table before we asked for it .and the food we asked for on two meals was not what we asked for .some confusion wth the guy taking the order I think .oh well not b in a rush to go...

14th October..I don’t usually write reviews but I feel I’ve got to say something…we had a group of 24 for a birthday meal at this lovely little restaurant and the evening was superb. It is beautifully kept, spotlessly clean and very welcoming. A massive thank you to the staff, who were all friendly and helpful. The food and service were excellent. I would definitely recommend this to all who love Indian cuisine . We will definitely be visiting...
