The County — Restaurant in Walsall

The County pub seems to be a pub which seems to be a established that has been in willenhall for a long long time, many other pubs have come and gone but this pub remains. Recently it has been taken over by new management and the people who own it now also own anther pub called The Old Engine. Iv spoken to the new owner's son and he tells me as the kitchen at the County is run on electric and not gas they will not be offering the full mixed grill menu, but if you do still want food they will order it in from there other pub and have it delivered to this pub. The new owner's son also said may be in the future depending on trade they may build a add on to supply hot meaty food. The pub has to entrances one is a lounge and the other bar area with a pool table. Week days are quite but as iv not been on a week end i can't remark but all in all it seems like a nice friendly place and I might even make it...

Myself & my girlfriend visited here for a Thai food night. We got to the pub a little early for our booking so decided on a drink and game of pool to pass the time. The person who served us was very polite, a female around 20 years old, She interacted well with us and made us feel very welcome. Food:- The food was "top notch" could not fault it. Tried the beef and pork sticks for the first time yesterday since they brought them back and I've got to say they were amazing. The fact that I could pre order them and pick them up at our convenience was great due to being in work myself.
