Absolutely disgusting. Open Sunday evening so popped in to try. Really wish we hadn't bothered. The chips were pre wrapped already being kept warm in the display cases. When we got them home to eat they were vile, they didn't even taste like chips the oil and being kept warm had ruined them. I appreciate that business may not be busy on a Sunday but if that is the case don't open rather than sell awful disgusting produce in an attempt not to throw food ,which should have been in the bin ,away, like we had to when we got home. Ordered mini fish special with curry in separate pot and a kebab in pitta . Got home no curry sauce and found chicken breast bones on my fish and chips ..... Took back no apologies just a oh well kind of attitude , this was from the member of staff and the owner/cook. Now I don't expect anything free but a heart felt apology would have done . First time I’ve been in this fish shop just to try it. And I can honestly say I will never go back. The fish was one of the worst I have ever tasted. Black skin all inside and the batter was not edible at all. Nothing seemed fresh, the mushy peas tasted water downed. Should have returned it all but the staff seemed so rude and in a rush taking my order I just threw it all in the bin as I’m not local. Terrible...
