McDonald’s — Restaurant in Walsall

After 3 to 4 months of this McDonald's being open, it has been brilliant to me and the rest of my family members! Dining in is nice and we saw a nice employee there named Mario. Funny person. Now, the delivery service is okay but not terrible either. It depends what day you order because on Saturdays or Fridays, the food delivered to you can be cold due to it being busy. But if you order on Sunday to Thursday, the food can the really hot and delivered quickly which is nice for me.

2024 Review Edit Update: Hello people reading this, I've only been inside this McDonald's once and dined in there as soon as it was open. When I decide I fancy McDonald's delivered to me, I order what I want, etc. However, it seems now the delivery time here has gotten slower and slower. From my old review above about what days to get food delivered doesn't matter anymore. No matter what day you order, it'll arrive occasionally on time and I've come to the conclusion that there are a lack of delivery drivers for this McDonald's. Because, when I order on Uber Eats or Deliveroo (I have both apps), it says my order is ready but it just sits at the McDonald's going cold for around 5 to 15 minutes as all the delivery drivers are delivering other orders and there are no other drivers on standby at the McDonald's delaying the estimated time my order arrives which can be annoying. I'm not sure why the staff make/cook delivery orders to be delivered if there's no drivers on standby. They should only make/cook delivery orders when there are drivers waiting and...

As can be seen from my previous post, I only posted a kind review about Mario and it was about him as a person. The reason, he was so kind and assisted with the cold food supplied to us. Three times we took our food back due to it being cold so, upon hearing this, Mario kindly gave our granddaughter an extra Happy Meal toy, together with a cookie. He also gave us a complimentary dessert as an apology. My husband unfortunately spilled his coffee so, again, Mario helped and also gave him a fresh cup. He turned what started as a disappointing evening into a better one. Today, however, I HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE OF RECEIVED A PARKING FINE. Not only did they get the food wrong, if you stay to enjoy a McDonald’s family experience too long you get fined for it! It can be said, didn’t we see the Parking signs? It was dark the evening we went and there was adverse weather conditions, so I can only say, regretfully, to my cost, no. I went there this morning with my mom. We ordered a bacon roll with no ketchup it came out with ketchup. My mom took it back and asked for a replacement which a gentleman did. We waited 10/15 minutes nobody brought a fresh one back. So I went to the counter and waited for someone to come and serve me. People working looked over acknowledged I was there and ignored me. After a further 5 minutes I asked if anybody was coming. One of the managers did I told her how disgusting the service was, she turned to me and said I acknowledged you but that's only because I was shouting at the counter for someone to come over to me. They replaced my mom's bacon and egg roll and the standard of food was disgusting the bacon looked under cooked and wasn't even edible. I didn't even hang about for a refund we binned the food and walked out. For staff to ignore guests without saying anything just looking and walking off is rude and not professional. I think alot of training in customer service needs doing.
