Absolute disgrace of a place. Majority of the staff appear rude, immature and probably couldn't toast some bread yet alone flip a burger or put some fries in a hot fryer. Went to the drive through today. Had a code for big mac and medium fries for 2.99. The girl on drive thru didn't know how to enter the code from the email so she then fetched her colleague/ supervisor. Whoever the lady she fetched was or thought she was. Was very rude, spoke to me like im some idiot because she didnt know how to enter the code which was a viable mcdonalds email, she then tried to scan the code which was actually digits and letters and not a qr or barcode 🙄 this for the life of me had me baffled. She was around 60 years old and may not have been down with technology like these young kids, maybe also why her whole attitude absolutely stank at the aspect of being a mcdonalds employee and not being able to climb the mcdonalds career ladder. Whatever her problem. She needs to up her customer service skills pronto. After being spoken to rudely by this lady she then spat the order out 500 miles per hour at which point I had already tapped my card to pay. Given I shouldn't have been so eager to pay but I was trying my best to get away from the crazy pensioner with a problem, as I tapped I realised she had charged me 13.68 which definitely was not the amount of my order. I proceeded to the next window and told the lady there that the lady at the previous window had charged me wrong, she then shouted the angry lady over who said I confirmed that was my order when she read it out and then walked off without wishing to deal with or sort the problem. I asked the lady who had shouted over angry lady to just please refund my order as I do not want it any longer due to angry lady's whole attitude from start to finish. Angry lady then had the cheek to ask for my card through the drive through window and refund my card for my original order amount. Not the 13.68 that she had charged me for someone else's order. At this point I was upset and went inside to speak to the manager who said he would refund my card for the remaining amount owed from what angry pensioner had charged. When I tapped my Samsung pay. It stated that the refund had failed on my phone and also the till did not print a receipt, amazingly a member of staff came from the kitchen with a receipt that was apparently for my refund. 🤔 The manager assured me the refund had gone back onto my card. Unfortunately I do not believe they refunded me correctly and the whole visit was an absolute traumatising ordeal. I feel violated. For a burger and fries. There were approx 8 members of staff alone in the kitchen I could see. Three outside smoking on a table with their uniforms and mcdonalds fleeces on. None of them had a clue what they were doing. I ordered a McDonald’s from Reedswood and this isn’t the first time I’ve had nearly half my order missing! I do my upmost best to provide for our family and treat them when we can. But to miss most of the children’s meals is shocking! Especially when they’re 3-5 years old and don’t understand why they haven’t got their dinner. Money is hard to come by, I don’t always have time to go shopping and I’m tired of not having the time to cook proper meals and wasting money on incompetent people to cook a simple meal! Our fries were cold and half filled, drinks were flat, and 2 out of 4 of the children’s meals were completely missing! It’s not fair that the orders I did get, had to be shared between all of them and having to explain to small children why they couldn’t have a full meal! Get yourselves some decent staff that can actually do their job! It’s not other peoples faults that your staff are lazy! Sort it out! I work in a restaurant and a bar! I have 2 jobs. Sometimes we just fancy a bite to eat at night as I don’t always have time to cook. Doesn’t make me or my family criminals! I’ve rang the restaurant multiple times but no answer! The staff at this McDonalds aren't the maim issue here, although some don't belong in a customer orientated job.
How can you collect your food from the drive thru window, get to the car park and the food already be cold?
Why are all the delivery drivers taking over the entire car park. If they aren't blocking traffic or the entrance, standing around in groups, they are taking up the waiting for orders area, or even worse the disabled spots!
Being asked to park up, when at times only ordering drinks is beyond belief, The best part is alot of the time, THERE IS NO WHERE AT ALL TO PARK!.
You don't get everything that you have ordered after going through the drive thru, you end up have to go back in to get it corrected. Or worse at night re-join the long ques in the drive thru to get back to the windows.
I cant recall the name of the burger, it was something stack, indicating the 2 burger patties, got home to tuck in, there's only one burger on there, how can u forget to put the 2 burgers on a product that the clue is in the name??
If you have any other option avoid this McDonald's it's very very rare to get your order right, let alone your order being hot and somewhat fresh.
Not all the staff are bad, There are a couple of gems in there but there is ALOT of unhelpful somewhat useless staff at this branch.
