I was so excited to try this place. Started off lovely. Bartender was great and had good beer recommendations. We also ordered a pizza. 30 mins later, he came and told us the pizza dough was rubbish and he would need to make more dough. No problem…we will have more drinks. 30 more mins pass and he came back and told us it was taking a long time and did we want some wings or fries basket. I said no need bc we wanted the pizza and I wasn’t that hungry for both. 15-30 mins later he came back and said are you sure I can’t get you something while you wait like the fries basket and we said fine. 45 min-Hour later I go to the bar to get another drink and ask about the pizza and he tells me they don’t have flour so there can be no pizza. He said half off anything else tho. We order a hot dog. Hot dog £3(£6 half off). When asked about the £13 we paid for the pizza, we were told that we had the other fried stuff so no refund on the pizza. Paid for the hot dog. We had several half pints and paid each time full price. Didn’t want the fried stuff but thought he was offering a snack while we waited forever for our pizza so agreed. We were there for 3 hours and I’m sad we had to leave with such a bad feeling. I even tipped the bartenders(who were apparently also the cooks) £6.50 before this all went down. I feel cheated. Be sure not to accept anything even if you think it’s a courtesy bc they are at fault for delay/not having...

Am sorry I have not visited earlier. A good range of interesting beers to suit any taste. I came in for 1 drink but stayed for 3. Very friendly staff and will certainly make it a venue In watford in the future. I had walked past in the past and walked past for a very obvious reason and why I have not scored it as a 5. I rarely go into an establishment that discourages someone my ancient age by having very high stools and high tables. I know my wife would refuse to come in with me as no way could she sit comfortably. So it will be ony own to sample their brews- but...

I organised a surprise 30th birthday here and it was the perfect venue! It was spacious, the food and drinks were spot on, and the staff were outstanding. The team was flexible and accommodating of our budget for food and drink options. Special shout out to George, Shane, and the entire staff who went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. All our guests had an incredible time and also thank the venue and staff.
