We got there and the atmosphere was quite dodgy not very welcoming. There was 7 of us and we all ordered food and drink and one of the girls didn’t get a drink throughout the whole time being there even though we had told them. We ordered a fresh mango drink and too our surprise it was Rubicon mango juice straight out from the cartan. The burgers and chips meal was horrid. The burger buns came super cold and there was this funky after taste which I couldn’t stand. I ended up just eating the patty and some stale lettuce. Didn’t touch the soggy chips - wasn’t fresh and no salt on it. The other thing that annoyed us was the fact we could see the workers shoving the chips back into the fridge that was RIGHT infront of the order desk . Just felt super unprofessional and didn’t feel right. The chicken shawarma was good though. This is not an authentic Lebanese restaurant. Serving Aldi sauces garlic mayo dip that had too much added garlic into it. Tomatoe ketchup and chilli sour source. The pitta bread tasted store brought. Would not recommend and never going there again. Very...
Read moreWe found this gem of a place on a Google search when looking for restaurants in the area. So glad we did. After a long, hot day in London, we booked a table over the phone and later when we arrived we were greeted with a smile. Amazing friendly and helpful team. The food was delicious. We had the mixed meze for two and ordered a couple of extra dishes. We loved the houmous, moussaka, vine leaves and little parcel things (can't remember the name). It was nice to try new things from Lebonese restaurant. My only issue was the falafel was maybe a little over cooked....but this didn't detract from the flavour and range of foods. Loved the Baklava for dessert! The little lounge area was lovely, we walked through to look but were seated in the main restaurant area. It's being your own alcohol but they serve cold, soft drinks. Really pleased with the food, service and restaurant generally. Thank you so much. We will return when next...
Read moreAfter touring WB's Harry Potter Studio, wife and I decided to eat dinner in Watford Junction. Following a short walk from the train station, we sat down for a delightful and delicious dinner at Nana's. We started with Baba Ghanoush followed by the Mousaka, that included a basket of bread. We're at that age in life where we usually split a dinner meal, so we ordered the Mixed Meshwi to be able to taste the chicken, cubed lamb, and the lamb Kafka. Excellent! Tender! Tasty.! Not overly seasoned and all very fresh! We were both full but thought if the starters and main were so delicious, then we just had to try a dessert. Ordering the Baklava, we thought we would taste one and take away the rest for a late night snack. Paired with fresh mint tea, we ate it all! Nothing fancy about Nana's. All you'll get is great food, reasonably priced, and wonderful service in a setting that feels like home! 5 stars - indeed! (Small note...
