Peri Peri Original in Watford only use 100% halal HMC certified chicken and meats for all our meals. We do not have a staff member called Fatima and especially not one who chews gum in customers faces and is rude!!! I am all for objective personal opinions in reviews but often times people just leave fake or inaccurate reviews (sometimes meant for a competitors page). Otherwise if someone doesn't like the taste of the food, wasn't happy with portion sizes or thought the amount of lettuce added to a wrap was too much etc I do not have any issues with that as it’s an honest personal opinion. Peri Peri Watford is hands down one of the best spots in town for flavorful, freshly cooked chicken. Every time I visit, the food is consistently tasty, and the service is quick and friendly. Their peri peri chicken is perfectly grilled—juicy inside with just the right amount of char and heat on the outside.

The portion sizes are generous, and they’ve got a great range of spice levels to suit everyone’s taste. I especially love their hot and extra hot sauces for that proper kick! The sides like the spicy rice and peri fries are always on point, too.

The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and has a nice casual vibe whether you’re dining in or taking away. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portions you get.

My go-to place for a good grilled chicken take away! They've been accepting card payments on delivery which is a life saver (but just double check when placing your order). We usually order the peri peri grilled whole chicken on the spicy side. The chicken is never dry and always fresh. It's always up to the expectations. The peri peri wings are delicious. My kids love their souther fried chicken and the fries. I must add that the garlic sauce one of the best I've had- not a lot of places get that balance right like these guys!
