Review of Tim Hortons
Tim Hortons has garnered significant attention on social media, with many influencers and coffee enthusiasts raving about their offerings. The brand's marketing campaigns, coupled with a strong community presence, have created a considerable hype around their coffee and food items. However, my recent visit left me with mixed feelings about the experience.
Coffee Experience: I decided to try their regular coffee and iced coffee, hoping to be wowed by the flavors that so many have praised online. Unfortunately, I found the coffee to be somewhat underwhelming. While the iced coffee had a refreshing quality, it lacked the depth and richness that I associate with a great cup of coffee. It seems that the hype may have set my expectations too high, as I was looking for a standout experience.
Doughnut Bites: On a more positive note, I sampled the doughnut bites, and I must say, they were delightful! The taste was spot on, with a nice sweetness that made them quite enjoyable. However, I did find them lacking in filling, which was a bit disappointing. While they were tasty, I was hoping for a bit more substance in each bite.
Looking Ahead: Despite my mixed experience with the coffee and the filling issue with the doughnut bites, I believe there is potential for a better visit. The food menu at Tim Hortons is varied, and I've heard great things about other items. I’m eager to explore more of their offerings, as I’ve seen others rave about their breakfast sandwiches and other pastries.
In conclusion, while my initial experience with Tim Hortons coffee didn’t meet my expectations, the tasty doughnut bites give me hope for future visits. I’m willing to give the branch another chance to see if I can find something that truly impresses me. Overall, it seems like a place worth exploring further, especially for those who enjoy a casual coffee and...

Read moreDisappointed is the best way to describe my first and likely last visit. On a positive note, the restaurant environment is perfect, and the cleanliness is visually up to a 5* standard.
I ordered from the self-service screen, and this was convenient. I ordered their large meal: a triple burger, potato chips, sweet chili sauce, and a Banoffee latte.
Service was quick, and my number was called. I received a bag on a tray.
The potato chips were stone-cold, so I returned these and was quickly given a replacement with an apology. I then noticed there was no sweet chili sauce, so I went back to the counter.
On opening the banoffee coffee, it looked like a regular latte with no whipped cream or biscuit on the top. I returned to the counter, and this time, a manager came out to see me; he was kind enough to say he'd replaced the drink for me. This he brought to me at the table.
The food served was very disappointing for a triple burger. It was like eating a McDonald's double with less meat inside. I've never seen a burger patty this thin before. The taste was poor, and the burger was not as hot as it should have been. The potato chips were disappointing, and the portion size was small, given that this was supposed to be a large meal. The coffee was okay, not quite the large size I was hoping for, and for me, too much banana syrup was added.
For £9.99, I was disappointed with the quality and level of service.
I was also disappointed they were using single-use plastic cutlery. Why not use sustainable cutlery made from wood?
This is not a restaurant I would recommend for a burger meal and to be honest, if you wanted a large hot drink at £4.50, I'd be happier going to Wetherspoons at £1.45 for...
