Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Waverley

System didn't want to accept card payment despite several lengthy attempts to pay, I ended up paying with paypal. The nine pizzas I ordered were delivered 1h25mins after placing order = STONE COLD despite assurance from PJ'S staff that they will be delivered hot ( they phoned me approx 40 mins after me placing order that my pizzas were READY , but they didn't have driver to deliver them ... I was told that they will deliver within next 30 minutes . Delivered after 1h25m wait ! This is serious food poisoning hazard issue due to having to reheat stone cold pizzas because PJ put them to the side not having drivers to deliver. When I phoned to make complaint ( as aforementioned, I was told by PJ'S that they will ensure pizzas will be hot), I asked for manager. The pizza order lime call handler said they were the manager, I asked for some refund. He disconnected and phoned me 5 minutes later after "speaking to his head office". I was offered 20% off my £95 order or two free pizzas next time I order. I will not be ordering from PJ'S and I probably spent more money on electricity reheating PJ'S cold pizzas than disappointing refund of 20%. Some pizzas were missing extras I ordered and I paid for too. Disappointed. Will not be coming...

I have been a regular customer at Papa John’s and have always been thoroughly impressed with their service and food quality. The pizzas are consistently delicious, with fresh ingredients and perfectly baked crusts every time. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and professional, making each visit a pleasant experience. I particularly appreciate the manager, who is incredibly polite and cheerful, always going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. His positive attitude creates such a welcoming atmosphere, and it’s clear that he takes pride in his work. I’ve never had any issues with my orders or service, and it’s refreshing to find a place that maintains such high standards consistently. The worst Papa J’s I’ve ever had, barely any cheese and jalapeños on the potato tots and a sprinkle of cheese on our pizzas.. the jackfruit pepperoni came in clumps, it’s meant to be in slices? It tasted so horrible and clearly wasn’t cooked properly all the way through as they are usually more crispy on top. Every single lump was mushy and gross, you could see the layers so clearly whoever did it was just too lazy to pull them apart. I picked them off after a while as they ruined the pizza, when usually it adds to the taste. I was also sick the next morning, I don’t know if it’s related but it’s honestly put me off Papa Johns... Don’t go to this branch, any other Papa Johns is 10X better than this 😅 they also forgot our...
