I went to Hailsham KFC at 7.40 pm on 2nd November and waited for 10 minutes toorder a 14 piece party bucket and paid the extra for 8 extra hot wings. 10 minutes later, at 8 pm, I was told that the chicken had run out and there would now be a further 25 minute waited. I pointed out that running of chicken at a KFC was a major and ludicrous problem. I got no response. A few minutes later all the waiting customers were told we would get extra chicken, chips and sides. I came home and went back out to collect the order at 8.25 pm and had to wait a further 3 minutes - a total of 50 minutes from entering the shop. When I got home the 8 chicken breast mini fillets were missing from the bucket and the extra 8 spicy wings I paid for were not provided. Neither were there any extra sides, chips or chicken, as promised, for compensation. The chicken pieces were soft and greasy, with grease pooling in the bucket. It was appalling. I rang immediately but the phone rang for several minutes until it was cut off. I tried to ring again a further two times and the phone cut off each time. It is illegal to charge for food and then not provide it. The service was appalling. The quality of the food was no better. I shall go to the shop tomorrow and seek compensation for this...
Read moreAbsolutely atrocious delivery service, phone line disconnected so there’s no way of communicating on the status of your order. Also we had the flu and waited for over an hour for our food. Three delivery drivers were selected on the Uber app to deliver our food. Our two year old was getting hungry so my Husband had to go and collect it himself for the staff at kfc to tell him it had just come out when it was stone cold from sitting there the whole time since we ordered it! Very dishonest behaviour.
On another occasion I went in on my way to collecting my child from nursery and ordered a small pop corn chicken and a fruit shoot, I waited for 20 minutes and the delivery couriers were being prioritised after I had ordered and I was then running late to collect my child so I just left. Couldn’t be bothered to try and talk to the staff behind the counter as they were very busy so I just left. Will not be ordering or visiting...
Read moreHaving used the machine to order there were a lot of things that were unavailable, including mighty bucket for one, ended up buying a large 2 piece Original on screen it gave the choice of water which I wanted it said large water or regular I chose large also ordered some other bits wanted just two didn't have that so 6 or 10 said you can only order 10 did this then paid waited abit for it to be done whilst waiting I noticed they had the mighty bucket and hot wings on the board when I got my meal I asked if the mighty was available they said yes asked why on the machine said unavailable they said its so they can control the meals no signs anywhere to say if you want the full menu go to counter, and also the piece of chicken in the two piece meal was a joke it wasn't much bigger then one...
