Simply Indian — Restaurant in Wealden

1st time we have eaten at Simply Indian and it was fantastic. The staff were very friendly, my daughter is a vegan so they recommended the dishes that they could make her her, very knowledgeable about what would be in her dishes as well. When our food arrived, it looked smelt and tasted amazing. I opted for a zlamd main, which can sometimes be very hit and miss, but it just melted in my mouth, not to spicy and there was a lot of meat in the dish not just bulked out with vegetables. The food is still at a good standard But the service and the Politeness Has gone out the window... The tap in one of the toilets did not work.. And the other toilet was full of old Christmas decorations.. They failed to supply me With a fork so I had to eat with a spoon.. All in all not a great experience the only good thing was the food But considering I went there for a sit down meal I may as well of just gone and got a Take away And had a better experience at home...

Very very ride behaviour of the staff at reception.

We arrived at 12:10 am as the restaurant was suppose to be open at 12. The staff said we are not open yet and it will take almost half an hour.

We said ok and started ordering and it was around 25£ order. He said you cannot dine in and said you have to take away the food. He was not all receptive and was not interested to welcome guests at all.

Not sure about food but the staff attitude...
