The London Inn — Restaurant in West Devon

We used to get delivery as a treat but its now got very expensive. They Take pride in their community ethos and yet they regularly fail to communicate issues with Just Eat availability to their customers and fans. On three occasions they have cut service to the villages outside Okehampton that it normally serves and haven't even had the decency to put that on the Just Eat pages and their webpages. Also haven't been giving customers half as much in takeaway portions as the eat in customers. They were running a discount code scheme last week offered through Just Eat and only offered the discount to their friends who they asked to "message" them for the discount. Nice pub in the centre of town, easy to find and readily available parking.

Visited in the mid afternoon during a few days in the area and wanted to find somewhere to have a quick bite to eat and drink.

The staff are very friendly and were very kind in helping determine what food to order. The food was prepared very quickly, including the homemade pie, which was quite tasty and filling, and came with mash and peas. The pulled pork and beef burger was also nice and came with chunky chips and salad.

The atmosphere was decent. They also have games, books, and a pool table in the back room available for patrons to play for a charge, I assume.

The pub is also pet friendly as upon entry there were some dogs having a sleep which was really nice and added to the family...

Have had food delivered before, 1st time we have sat in and eat. Food is always amazing, local meats and better than any fast food, better than Spoons, way better. The Mrs had stacker burger, she gave me 1 of the burgers as she don't eat 2. I had the full breakfast, no mushroom or blood pudding for me, I paid for an extra sausage instead. Then little boy had chips, chips are spot on, nice chunky chips. I had some of them as well so the breakfast looks different in my pic to one that you would get with no changes.
