I give the Peacock 5 stars for a number of reasons and depite there being no disabled access ( the restaurant being located on the 1st floor). That, however, is the only negative. Staff are friendly, polite and attentive. The decor is stunning and the restaurant is immaculately clean. The menu is extensive with 3 'banquet' options and a large choice of individual starters, main meals and sides. A dessert menu is also available. The food is beautifully presented and tastes amazing. Kept waiting for far too long to order drinks or food whilst watching takeaways flying out of the door. Regular faces walked in after us and where tucking into their food before we had even been able to order. The wall directly next to my seat had old stains that had not been cleaned and the grease on the food was disgusting. That is not a sauce on the picture just grease. Chicken satay was very salty.
