Barnyard Churrasco and Grill Ormskirk — Restaurant in West Lancashire

Never go here ! Service is terrible I looked on the website before booking to see the menu as we had 2 vegans and 1 vegetarian I our party of 6 , and thete were a few things g to choose so I was happy and paid my 40 deposit and booked it for the following 2weeks which was last night 23rd July, when we got there we couldn't see anything vegan on the menu , I asked the waiter and he said they didn't do vegan , I explained I had checked out the menu before booking , he said you could have a salad or hallumi (which is cheese !!!! ) I said im vegan so cheese no good he said houmous you could have but it has milk in our one ???? I said we are vegan so milk is a no ! He said I'm sorry its just salad then, I said we don't want a salad we have came for a meal , and that it was terrible to have vegan on the website but not when you look at the menu here , he said I'll go ask and came back saying yes the manager said thats an old menu !!! I said that should be changed don't you think ? We asked could they ask if we could have anything adapted eg fajitas just veg no chicken , he came back and said yes that's fine , we then waited over hour and a half for our food to come ! Then at the end they charged us 14.95 for veg fajitas !!!!! Same price as the meat one !! We ordered a second portion if fries , that didn't come, when we asked the waitress said , oh sorry we didn't do them ,do you still want them we said yes she gave us a look and went off to tell chef ....one ladies loo waited 20 mins in a queue of 5 people to go the loo ..the whole evening was a joke , the staff had no idea how to wait on or anything about food !none of my colleagues would go back they all agreed the customer service was...

Great place with a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately couldn't give it 5 star as ordered Chateaubriand for my wife and myself and also my son and his girl, which when it came out we was given 3 pieces of meat per couple and can't help thinking they was trying to share the large centre cut fillet of tenderloin between the 4 of us, and at £55 per 2 servings then it soon looks like you are getting short changed at £110 before even ordering side dishes at extra cost 😳. I don't mind paying but at least get what your supposed to get and don't get treated as if you've never ordered these dishes before elsewhere.When I complained to one of the waitresses she seemed to take it personally and didn't really look bothered so I complained to the owner who in his defence did have a word with the chef and came out with a couple more pieces but by this time the whole experience was some what ruined. Normally when you order this dish elsewhere it comes and sliced at the table and you do get the whole tenderloin but for some reason they decide to share it out. I was out with my sister's for tea and we decided on here as there was something on the menu for each if us. We were greeted by a nice waiter and told we could sit anywhere. Once we sat down he came over to take our drinks order and said he would be back to take our food soon. More people arrived and sat at 2 separate tables. We were still waiting for our drinks and these 2 tables food orders were taken but not ours. Eventually our drinks arrived ....No spoons to stir in sugar. Still our orders for food were not taken . Our order was eventually taken and my sister ordered a burger. The waiter came out and told us he was sorry but there were no burgers left but the 2 tables who were served before us but came in after us got burgers. !!!! Then we were informed ,after ordering something else ,they did have a burger !!!! When the food finally arrived, once again we were without cutlery .Not happy that we had to wait again. Having said all this the food was good so that partly made up for it.Shame the service...
