Bird in the Hand — Restaurant in Wigan

Went here with my boyfriend and was originally having a good night. There was a woman who was extremely drunk and abusing other people - i.e. slapping a man (originally just thought this was typical drunken behaviour so didn't think too much of it at first). About an hour into being there, the drunk woman comes up to me and demands my ID (bearing in mind I'd already bought two drinks). She claimed to be a barmaid, so I gave her my ID but then she started to kick off with me and my boyfriend for absolutely no reason (again, she was absolutely bladdered), so we said we were leaving because we refused to be spoken to the way she was speaking to us. As we were leaving she started kicking off, screaming and told us that she didn't like us anyway and told us to leave.

We weren't the only people she kicked off with, as she had gone around to another new customer (who had bought a non-alcoholic drink) and asked them for ID and still wasn't satisfied when shown.

No bar maid should be getting that drunk in her own bar and kicking off with the customers. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and she should be extremely embarrassed and ashamed of herself.
