Terrible Service - Lost my order they was that busy. I ordered via telephone and they told me it was an hour wait which was fine. When I arrived they couldn't find my order after I gave my name and then just moved onto another customer. Then, after constantly asking, I was told it would be 10mins and to take a seat. They had that many customers and telephone calls that they didn't know who's order was who's and it was all getting very confusing. Another 40 mins went by and again I asked where my order was. They admitted they couldn't find it and when the girls taking orders tried to ask if anybody saw it they just got shouted at by a Turkish fella cooking the food. A new girl there gave up and was scared to ask. I had enough at this point and asked for a refund. It was only when I got home I realised that they short changed me!!!! They don't have the capacity to be taking the volumes of customers on they do all at once. Be prepared to be disappointed if you order at peak times. A gem of a restaurant. The interior is beautiful, with the lighting, decoration and overriding theme.
It's not the biggest restaurant, but it also didn't feel too cramped or noisy.
The menu is fairly typical for a Turkish restaurant, with traditional starters and quite a bit of grilled meat. They did, however, also have a selection of pizzas.
Service was good and pretty quick. The manager/owner was also there. He was friendly and engaging.
The starters were great, some of the most enjoyable I've had in a while. The main dish was good, although a little underwhelming after the starters. Portions are reasonable.

Amazing place
We didn't book a table but were quickly seated. Lovely dining area, beautiful decor.
The 2 waitresses we had looking after us were 2 of the most polite girls I've ever had the pleasure of meeting
The food is absolutely incredible Starter of a hot meze platter to share, with cacik and baba ganoush. The bread that came with this was Unbelievable.
Mains of chicken kebab and Adana kebab were perfect. The meat on both plates tender, juicy and full of flavour. Even the rice was delicious.
Would 100% recommend Ella restaurant for an authentic Turkish meal. Immaculately clean toilets too, literally 5* cleanliness. Thank you for a lovely evening. We drove 14 miles on a recommendation and definitely wasn't disappointed
