Visited on a Friday night about 7pm. Busy at the drive-thru with traffic backed up onto the road on the retail park. Never a good sign. So parked up on BK next door and walked over to order indoors. Busy inside with more home delivery drivers waiting for orders than there were customers!! Placed order and waited for collection. Only then did I notice the signs about possible gaps in the menu due to a shortage of deliveries during the pingdemic. Waited for my order and then told no beans. Great, had to choose an alternative. Then told no tango! Again had to pick alternatives. It was crazy mad inside with staff shouting orders and numbers all over the shop. How can anyone work in that chaos? Finally got order and left. Got home.and had to rewarm some of it. Hot wings were tragic. Very dry and overdone like they had been sat there under a heat lamp for hours. Zinger ok, chicken ok, chips again not great and overcooked. Overall not a great experience and to be honest, not the first time it's been rubbish at this location. Will stick to Ashton in...

Service can be slow at peak periods, service in the drive through is constantly slow and can back up the roads on the surrounding car park. Nothing stopping you getting out of your car after parking up and actually WALKING. The drive through was an ill thought out idea all the same.
All in all, it is what you expect. Food is always of good standard as far as KFC is concerned, but this place isn't going...
Read moreWent to counter to order, was told I had to order using a screen, staff all stood there but did not offer to serve, I said I was paying cash, was told don't worry to choose that option on the screen, very impersonal service, not everyone is able to use the screens and like to speak to human beings and order their food face to face, when I went to pay the lady who served me was lovely, I expressed my disbelief on why I had to choose my food by ordering on a screen, KFC you need to sort yourselves out, this disconnect from customers is awful, and non inclusive, some older people may not be able to use your screens and will be left feeling excluded by this use of technology, I get it as an option but the customer should be able to choose not be told to order...
