Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Wigan

Wow what a waste of time! We ordered at 17.15, food didnt arrive till after 19.00! This was after 3 phone calls. The excuse was that theirs some roadworks going on. It doesn't take 45 mins or more to get from the shop to my house even in serious rush hour. The last phone call was a return call from the shop telling us that our food was 300 yards away, we can see 300 yards in either direction, no Papa John's delivery car. 45+ minutes elapsed and it arrived. Delivery driver comes round and passes us our food, then as walking away asks if we had paid! Should say that on the boxes anyway. The food was poor standard, pizzas were terrible. A waste of money and time. Will not be ordering again from their. I'd have given zero stars except it wouldn't allow me to. Avoid this place if you have taste buds and don't want to waste...

Ordered twice from here now and both times they've been unable to fulfil the order correctly.

First time they didn't deliver a selection of sauces that had been paid for, they where informed instantly but still took over an hour to turn up. By at which point the pizza was long gone.

Second time round, it was collection, they failed to give us the ice cream ordered when we first picked up the pizza. After a lap around the block to pop back in there was then a 3 man calamity to get a tub of ice cream from the freezer. The pizza was also look warm at best so by the time we get it home it was a solid piece of cheese.

The pizza has been of a good quality both times but majorly let down by the service on each occasion.

Unfortunately, will likely not go back again. At least until they book their acts up and get the...

Made an online order tonight from PapaJohns wigan and I did not receive my confirmation email.. I decided to call them to ask if my order had been received, it hadn’t. They explained that there had been trouble with the online app and asked me to give them a call back in 10 minutes to check again. I did this and again my order had not gone through. The lovely gentlemen had already contacted their IT team and was waiting for them to contact him - he then said “ he did not want us waiting around any longer and that he would send out our order anyway, and if the problem was not resolved we would receive our order and potentially a refund also” 🥰 the food arrived as promised, was lovely and hot and also was enjoyed by all… Big thanks to the team for going above...
