All the other waitresses and everyone else who works in weatherspoons are always 5 stars out of 5 so kind so lovely however at multiple points I have been singled out by an older woman once when I was homeless I was really tired and she used this as an excuse to kick me on the street whilst I was harassed by a group of people who followed me from pub to pub trying to abduct me I complained about this she just put me on the street this was February so while ago now ever since she wouldn't let me back in until summer she stopped bothering me as obviously I've done nothing wrong and I'm not banned and have never done anything to cause anyone harm or any problem everything was fine until last night my partner proposed to me and we got engaged at this weatherspoons my partner is 31 and was served at multiple points with alcohol for us both until we wanted the mango and passion fruit cocktail it wasn't loud or busy so there would be no reason for her to mishear us she put the wrong cocktail through so obviously we told her she then makes a remark to us saying yes we wanted this cocktail when obviously we didn't as obviously that's why we let her know she had made a mistake she then after being very moody with us saying it was us whi had made a mistake asks to see ID which is fine obviously my partner didn't have ID which obviously check ID sure but the problem is she herself had put the drinks through the wrong drink before asking and getting confrontational with us and saw us at multiple points drinking in weatherspoons several drinks beer cocktails and she said nothing until she put the wrong drink through and then because my partner didn't have ID however I did she wouldn't serve him but then when I asked for the drink I wanted she said I could only have a beer so I decide to leave as she is very much trying to cause an argument also blaming the drinks being served on other people working there when my partner is 31 and no offense to my partner ha ha definitely looks 31 it's obvious he's over 25 however I understand you need to ID but why put a drink through for us in the first place then blame everybody else when she's seen us drinking blaming other people for serving us when she was about to do the same thing she blonde skinny older woman maybe late 40s early 50s she ruins it for everybody else who does a very good job such a shame won't...

We ordered our first drinks at the bar before finding a table. I noticed the bar girl handled our glasses like she would if collecting empties 😫 by putting her fingers into both glasses then went onto pouring our drinks into them. A glass should never be handled at the top by staff serving and definitely not inside the glass and handling money at the same time and god knows what else. I wanted to mention it before we walked away from the bar but my bf persuaded me not to. She also didn't seem very interested or pleased to be working by the expression on her face and the way she kind of plonked the drinks at us on the bar. We ordered food and our next drink using the app, I dread to think how that drink was poured, ignorance is bliss n all that! Hoping she didnt repeat the same again 😬 Also, the ladies toilets were not clean, another lady commented to me how they tick a sheet to say they have been checked when clearly they aren't. I tried 4 and picked the best of a bad bunch, one had blood on the toilet seat, another had toilet rolls on the floor, 2 toilets blocked up, 1...

Wish I could leave a zero star rating, awful service and rude staff. As an out of towner we decided to come to Wigan for a change of scenery on a nice sunny day . Bar had around 10 people waiting as we entered, waited patiently to be served only to be ignored numerous times & serving people before us who walked to the bar much later than us. 3 on the bar then reduced to 1 person as the other 2 one looked liked the manager started doing the glass washer instead of serving. Terrible customer awareness why not serve all paying customers rather than jump on the glass washing task - poor management skills.

After being ignored for 15 minutes (check cameras) we decided to leave. Most reviews are ignored and I never leave a bad review but today was the exception. Treat your customers with respect and acknowledge them! Customer service 101! Be better!
