Booked here for Friday just gone, and the customer service is something that really stood out to me. I have particular dietary requirements, which is a little awkward at these places as it requires a lot of questions in terms of prep, cook, and ingredients.
Normally, I tend to avoid restaurants where it is like that because I either don't trust the full information or it feels as though my needs aren't being listened to or get understood completely. So I stick with where I know.
However, I thought I'd try. I called prior to my booking and asked these questions, and the lady who makes the deserts / one of the owners? Went above and beyond to answer all questions clearly and understood my circumstances, alongside doing additional research on certain products and giving me a call back to give the right information. I really appreciate the time and effort here
On the day we arrived, the table was ready and clean. Good time that we were in there for, just short of 2 hours busy Friday evening and managed a 3 course meal with drinks to start at the beginning. Food came out hot, the waitress who did check back was friendly, and the atmosphere with the music made the environment nice to sit and eat.
Thank you - enjoy...

We were impressed with level h&s around protecting guests against covid. Ordered King Prawns and Meatballs for starters. The prawns were tasteless, the toast was soggy - all very strange - it was spicy, perhaps to mask the flavourless, packet-like, sauce. The meatballs were ok - nothing special - but the accompanying bread was boring. Not really the quality you expect from an Italian restaurant. We didn't get mains. We had Profiterole and Pistachio desserts. You can't go wrong with choux pastry and chocolate so that was a winner. While the pistachio dessert was a nice flavour the texture was strange - it felt a little 'off the shelf' and perhaps previously frozen. The cocktails were nice enough. We ordered Mojito which was ok but the lime flavour was over powering. The Kir Royale was nice in flavour though perhaps the quality of prosecco disappointing for an Italian restaurant. On the whole, it was reasonably priced, perhaps a tad high. Not...
Read moreI was given a voucher by family to celebrate my birthday. I booked a table for two and spent a week looking forward to âdate nightâ. When we arrived, we were shown to our table and offered drinks. Olives and bread were put on the table while we perused the menu. The food was fabulous! I canât tell you how much we enjoyed it. I took a picture of the starter (not something Iâd normally do, but this was special). The main and desert didnât get the same treatment, because there was an empty plate before I realised Iâd not took the picture. The wine was crisp and refreshing too. Then came the cocktails!! A word of warning!! The cocktails!!! Delicious wasnât in it! They were amazing, as were the staff! We went a fair bit over budget, but those cocktails!! Wow!! All in all, we had a fantastic evening. I would heartily recommend Primo to anyone. Just keep a check on...
