The Dog and Partridge — Restaurant in Wigan

The drinks are cheap there's entertainment on and the pub accomodates all sports with multiple screens. There has been time's where there have been fights in the pub. The men's toilets are a disgrace the floor is soaking wet there is no soap in the soap dispensers, no locks on the toilet door and no seats on the toilet. Most of the staff are friendly enough one member of staff i find very ignorant when you are purchasing a non alcohol drink he makes you wait at the bottom of the que and serves several other people that are purchasing alcoholic drinks that came to the bar long after i went to the bar eventually when you get served he doesn't ask you what you want he stands there staring at you. On another occasion after waiting to be served he decided to play on the bandit and i had to ask him to serve me he told me to wait till he's finished poor customer services. I have been here on a few occasions. However, recently door staff accused us of "stinking of weed". We wasn't drunk, we wasn't even acting differently to anyone else. If they could smell it then its definitely on the staff.. We left our drinks and headed out. Since then we give Wigan a miss, as its terrible in everyplace we have tried there. Its the singling people out and its nothing but crap anyway!! Hopefully, they'll get shut down because they are public nuisances. I have to say they don't have hospitality. I wouldn't take anyone I know into these places either. They should see how it looks...

Barmaid pulled the wrong drink when I went back to ask for the correct drink I was told the mistake was mine I’d apparently picked someone else’s drink up which was nonsense then when I asked her again another member of staff tried helping but she was told not to change the drink the barmaid then went to the doormen & told them I’d called her some horrible names which I didn’t we was subsequently told to leave shocking customer service will definitely giving this place a wide birth if we ever visit...
