The Ukulele — Restaurant in Wigan

A group of us went into the pub, one of our number was ordering the drinks, obviously not fast enough for the manager, some of our group were still outside finishing their cigarettes so the gentleman ordering didn't have the full order. The manager wasn't happy about this and chose to humiliate the gentleman, shouting at him with the karaoke mike.

I've worked in customer service for over 40 years, including pubs and clubs and I have never witnessed such an insulting incident or such an abuse of power. As a pub manager she should have been able to handle this situation, she not only let herself down but also the brewery that she represents.

No wonder the pub was so empty if this is how customers are treated. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour and totally unacceptable.
