We had afternoon tea for my Dad’s 90th birthday on Sunday and it was a really lovely time. From the moment we arrived, bearing a large and slightly melting birthday cake, to the moment we left, Connie looked after us incredibly well. Nothing was too much trouble. She took the cake and put it in the cellar, sorted the candles out for me, looked after the varying needs landed on her by our wide age range from a 4 yr old to a 97 yr old, supplied boxes for takeaway cake and was unceasingly cheerful and friendly. The food was good: tasty sandwiches, excellent scones and a nice range of cakes. The only improvement could have been in having the cakes cut into smaller chunks, so that we could each try a few different types; I was pre-warned by other reviews, so went round and cut them up myself (although that wasn’t without incident as a couple of pieces fell off the edges of the cake stand 😄) We had plenty to eat and overall thought it was reasonably good value. We also had a lovely long table up on a raised section overlooking the indoor riding hall, so could see the horses, which was an added delight. All in all I’d highly recommend Pinkmead for service, food...

This was my second order from you guys on Deliveroo, I enjoyed my first order a lot but my second order…. Omg it was amazing! Absolutely lovely toasty & chips really really nice! The pancakes were absolutely beautifully delicious 🤤! The pancakes are the best American style pancakes I’ve ever had in the uk, better than any specialty restaurant! I will be bringing my fiancée down over the weekend to enjoy your amazing food! Your prices are amazing for the quality of food as well. I don’t normally leave reviews or seek out places to leave reviews but the food, service & price I had to leave you a glowing review! I will be enjoying your food in person over the weekend with my fiancé see...

Hidden little gem attached to the equestrian yard. Traditional yet smart and clean inside. Dogs on leads welcome. Loved watching the horses in the sand school whilst eating breakfast. We had the eggs and avocado and full English. My only criticism would be: the full English, for £9 you can choose any 5 items. This is fine as it was delicious, however, I don't think toast should be included within the 5. In my opinion, toast should come with all cooked breakfasts. If I had chosen toast, I would have only got 4 other items for £9 which does seem a bit steep. Anyway, it was very tasty and the poached eggs were perfect! Will definitely return, maybe to try Sunday roast or...

Happened to fall on this place today. Decided to go for a coffee and cake. Once inside we saw the quality of the food and decided to eat. We both had ploughman’s, we were not expecting the feast that came to our table. It was literally the best ploughman’s I have ever experienced. Served with humour, friendliness and efficiency. The setting is amazing with a lovely restaurant area and lovely views of the horses being ridden. I would highly recommend Pinkmead to all my family and friends. We will definitely be returning soon.
