Having been to many Indian and Pakistani restaurants in England, I would say this was one of my favourites in a long time. Fresh ingredients, good portions, reasonable prices and polite staff. They sell kingfisher beer which isn't in all Indian restaurants and brings back nice memories of visiting India. Your looking at around £4 for a starter and £10 for a main which I think is reasonable these days. They do fusion Indian food along with some other nice twists on things, good range of vegetarian options and lots of less spicy options for those who may not like the heat. I would recommend trying the paneer and the sag aloo was delicious

One of the best curry houses I’ve been in, and I’ve been in 100s around the world - including in India. The food was amazing, hot, fresh and tasty. Garlic bread and dahls to die for. The interior design gives the place an upmarket feel. I had a hot chicken dish Jal Tenga and it was definitely hot - and excellent! The service was five star, with the sons of the owner looking after us so well.

Authentic and flavoursome Indian food. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Food portions looked small which was deceiving as we couldn't finish the food. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants I have been and we will definitely be back again. Very reasonably priced not extortionate like some Indians you go to.

First time trying here since it was taken over we did ring to see if they delivered a few weeks back but they said no which is mad because on there website they deliver to alot further than were we are and was told try vindaloo, after noticing an advert on Facebook that they now do a meal deal we thought we'd Try and collect so here goes, we were looking forward to our meal as we used to use the spice club but unfortunately we were a bit disappointed 😞 the chicken tikka massala was nothing like before it was pale red watery and tasted of tomatoes the onion bargees were not cooked through properly the nahn bread was tiny and although is seemed to have loads of coconut in it was pretty tastless , the chips were fries and were okay the pilau rice was yellow and was okay but I'm used to it being the rainbow rice, the chicken was nice and tender and the poppadoms were lovely and fresh only downside is you should give people the option to buy a pot of mango chutney on it own instead of having to buy a chutney tray, mint sauce wasn't the greatest but mango chutney was, it was overall edible but would...

We ordered a takeaway from here for the first time tonight and my first thoughts after a mouthful of Rogan Josh were those reviews must have been fake...

It was quite bland, didn't really taste like a Rogan Josh or even taste like something you'd order from a curry house and contained very little lamb (almost £10 aswell). In my wife's words "there's no way whoever made that was Indian".

Lamb Rogan Josh (terrible), Pilau Rice (fine but... it's pilau rice), Saag Paneer (terrible), Mixed Special Starter (ok but not great), Chips (very small portion and soggy).

I very rarely leave poor reviews and if you click on my profile you'll see most of my reviews are very positive, but this was honestly the worst Indian takeaway I...
