Piri-Siri Mexican Kitchen (Bar & Grill) — Restaurant in Wirral

Piri-siri is a Mexican restaurant in Moreton ,Wirral. I am a little late with this review but we ate there yet again on 14/06/24. I have an allergy to shellfish, and I can not eat gluten so I am always wary of eating meals out. I have mentioned in the past to Piri-siri about my allergies and they are very serious regarding informing me what I can & can't eat. It makes a massive difference to me knowing I can eat there safely. It is important to mention that the restaurant has yet again been given 5 stars hygiene rating. Piri-siri restaurant is beautifully decorated & there are, of course, the Mexican hats that are offered to you if you want any pictures taken of your group. The staff are friendly, efficient and around enough to help you, without being too close and overbearing. I do not like really spicy foods and I love that with quite a few items on the menu you can choose to have your food less spicy if you wish. There are a few different offers aswell on the menu depending what time or date you visit. They have a good range of starters but I know how large the portions are so I don't have one. I chose the lamb kebab which came with salad, coleslaw and I had rice as I couldn't have the chips. I do believe they may be able to do some pan fried little potatoes. My friend had a burrito which was huge & came with a choice of sauce and fries. I already knew how gorgeous the coleslaw was so we ordered a side to share. The presentation of all meals is excellent, I love how the kebabs arrive on a swinging kebab holder too which looks amazing. We were offered the desert menu but we were so full after our meal we didn't choose to have one. We saw two desserts arrive to the table next to us and they looked divine! I have recommended Piri-siri to many people and everyone agrees that this is a little gem where everyone should visit. Yet again an absolutely wonderful meal and experience. From the lovely welcome through to the "goodbye, lovely to see you & hope to see you soon", it is just perfect here. The staff are highly professional and efficient yet so friendly and helpful. They are always available for help to the table but they don't hover and make it obvious they are there for you. For a starter we shared some chicken wings which had such a beautiful flavour and were so succulent. For our main we chose the lamb chops and as usual they didn't disappoint. What a beautiful flavour, also well cooked and so moorish! I had rice and salad & my daughter had chips and salad too. We are always full after our meals here as they are such good portions. Drinks prices are reasonable too. this restaurant is very local to us so we will be returning very soon.
