Pecorino Cucina Italiana — Restaurant in Wirral

We may not have been in all local restaurants but experience with Pecorino has blew our minds and they are in our opinion the best food place in our entire area. We have decided to book a table not really knowing what to expect as they are brand new business and have been open for only few days,so you can only guess if they serve quality food or just poor imitation of Italian cuisine until you try it. And we did try it. It was simply incredible,full of flavour,fresh and fragrant. Breath of fresh air compared to many other restaurants we have visited. Place itself feels like you are at home- warm , and very cosy atmosphere with quiet music in the background and there are only handful of tables,so you won’t be waiting long to be served at all. We have ordered a bottle of wine and they brought an unopened bottle to our table,opened it and gave us a little tester to see if we like this particular one and if not,they will bring another one to try. I ve never seen anything like it in places that normal people come to eat. This restaurant stands out with its originality and the way they make you feel when you dine there. We will definitely be regular customers...

We tried here last night for the first time . The restaurant is lovely. Small but not cramped at all. Service was warm and friendly, attentive but not overbearing.

They have a great drink selection including delicious wines and classic cocktails.

We tried a few starters , cheesy garlic bread, bruschettas and burrata salad with walnuts . Portions were very generous and the food was fresh and tasty!

For mains we tried their cheeseburger and chips , prawn linguine and Parma ham pizza.

Everything came out hot and we enjoyed all the dishes but the stand out to me was the pizza! Absolutely perfect! Cheesy, crispy crust and packed with ingredients!

We couldn't fit in a dessert but I had my eye on the lemon ice-cream served in a fresh lemon peel shell! Next time I will be ordering that!

First time eating here after hearing good things about this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. The staff are amazing, the restaurant itself is just so lovely and the food is divine. We both had the carbonara and it was divine. The portions were large and I'm pleased we didn't get a starter as it would have been too much for us. it looks like a small restaurant from outside but the table aren't too close inside to be claustrophobic which is great. I also feel safe eating here with my allergies. I am gluten free and the pasta is still lovely.
