Called in today purely on a recommendation and really glad we did. Where the shop is, normally behind a busy queue of taxis, it can easily be passed without noticing but please give them a visit as it will be worth your while. The selection of cakes on offer is amazing, aswell as bread and other pastries. The young lady serving was very helpful and very informative asto the different cakes they sell. The selections are a bit pricey but hey these are bespoke cakes etc and individually made so you expect to pay that little bit more but they are worth it. Olawa bakery is one of those establishments that rightfully thrives on its reputation. A whole irresistible range of Polish breads and pastries conveniently renamed for the English speaker. Whilst the extremely lovely assistant in the shop was not Polish (but still a dziewczyna kobieta!) she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, sending me on my way with the best sour dough loaf I've ever tasted. My only regret is that as the bakery is only two minutes from my home I've never visited previously. A brilliant bakery and a valuable asset to an otherwise struggling Liscard...

I go in most days for my chocolate Croissant and they are amazing .the shop is so clean and the staff are very friendly and helpfull .and will explain what is in the fresh cakes and breads.always greeted with a smile such a lovely and friendly couple who work there.i would definitely recommend this shop .if you havnt been there yet you really need to go and try there fab...
